Happy New Year 2019 Eve in Denmark
The New Year’s Eve in Denmark is a big and huge event. People celebrate the day with their families and most of the teenagers and youngsters prefer to celebrate this day with their friends. The partying spirit is kept alive all over the country and people enjoy the day with great food, drinks and good music. The hotels and restaurants are packed to the brim on the New Year eve and people mostly therefore make advance reservations for rooms and reserve their tables in advance.
The restaurants have lot to offer on this day. The platter is full of mouth-watering delicacies and sumptuous meals. The bars and pubs offer a huge variety of drinks ranging from cocktail to mock-tails. Many restaurants give special offers to draw the crowds.
The Town hall squares accommodate a large number of people who arrive there at midnight to witness the huge display of aerial fireworks. People gather at this place to hear the clocks chime at 12pm. It has become a tradition for people to be p0resent here on New Year’s Eve at midnight. People in large number gather at lakes to Norrebro and Queen Louise’s Bridge. The Tivoli Garden of Denmark is a world famous tourist attraction and on the New Year Eve the parks are kept open up to 10 pm. People enjoy the rides and attractions of the garden as the place gets ready with fireworks to be displayed at midnight.
The New Year Eve isn’t the only day when fireworks are displayed. Annual Tivoli fireworks festival is held every year from 26th to 30th December. The sky is treated with the most stunning display of fireworks and people gather in large numbers to see the sky lighting up with the fireworks display.
On the New Year Day people consider it to be a good omen to find broken dishes on the doorsteps. People break the dishes and plates on the entrances of their friend’s home to convey their best wishes.
